A build focused around using Ignite Arrows to deal good single target and AoE damage compared to other Ranger alternatives by taking advantage of multishot skills as well as Ebon Standard of Honor triggering on Ignite Arrows. This build does not specifically need a secondary profession to function properly, giving you some creative leeway.

Equipment

Weapons

• x1 Zealous and x1 Vampiric Shortbow (can use a Flatbow instead if you prefer). Zealous is used to maintain or stabilize your energy. Vampiric will allow for more damage when energy is not an issue.
  • Both bows will use a "Strength and Honor" inscription, and a +30 HP bow grip of fortitude. You can swap the bow grip for other options if you would like, excluding "of enchanting" or "of marksmanship", as those are useless for this build.

• Defensive set consisting of a spear and shield.
  • Spear with Zealous to help build energy, or furious. Along with either + health or + armor with an energy +5 inscription.
  • Shield with +30 health mod and an inscription of armor +10 of a relevant damage type to the area.

• A Longbow or Flatbow to pull enemies (unless you are already using a Flatbow).

Armor

• Full Radiant Insignias.
  • A more defensive option is Brawler´s or Scout's Insignias.

• Head:
  • +1 wilderness survival headpiece with a +3 wilderness survival rune.

• Chest:
  • +50 hp rune (can use the lower tiers until you can afford the better versions).

• Hands:
  • +2 expertise rune.

• Legs:
  • +2 energy rune of attunement.

• Feet:
  • +2 energy rune of attunement.

Usage

• Maintain Ebon Battle Standard of Honor and Ignite Arrows during battle.
• Use Triple Shot, Dual Shot, (and Forked Arrow/Incendiary Arrows if you brought them) as often as possible.
• Make sure to maintain your energy with your zealous bow.
