- Because, sure, Obsidian Flesh protects you against spells, but not attacks. So pretty much, any condition (especially that of 'daze', burning, poison) would 'completely' rip this apart. While on the other hand, the sin is invunerable to everything (except touch skill). But it really comes down to whether you want speed (this) or efficency (sin)

Spectral Vaettir[]
I was trying to come up with a build to farm the Spectral Vaettir in Jaga Moraine for Glacial Stones, although most of what I came up with couldn't do it or had a hard time, in part because they take little damage from elemental attacks. Then I found this build and came up with a variant to farm them.

Leave from Longeyse's Edge and head for Jaga Moraine, you can avoid all enemies in this area if your careful, there is one Wurm you may run into just throw up Stoneflesh aura to reduce the damage from Wurm Bile and keep running, he won't give chase. Once there put on all of your enchantments and aggro as many of them as you can, wait for them to bunch up then hex them with MoR and use Lava Font to keep them burning, Crystal Wave and Teinai's Crystal deal armor ignoring damage although they will get rid of burning which shouldn't be a problem with how easy it is to keep Lava Font spewing (Very short recharge). If you really want you can aggro all 60 of the Vaettir that appear there in hard mode but it takes awhile with the speed reduction from Obsidian Flesh and if you take them in smaller groups mistakes aren't as deadly, usually. So along with Glacial Stones you get the increased drops from hard mode, more Gold items, Mesmer tomes, and atleast 120 Norn rep points if you take the hunt. - I came up with this before I found out they did earth damage, now I run mantra instead. This is a lot more effective than the original because Spectral Vaettir are very resistant to elemental (or all types?) damage. Crystal wave/Tenai's Crystals bypass their armor as does the constant burning from MoR and Lava font. This doesn't really matter seeing as a Vaettir farming build has been vetted since I posted this. -- Broodling67 22:01, 12 May 2008 (EDT)

Farming spots/foes[]

- Just did Seacret Lair, it went smooth with some flaws (wich can be skipped). I got 3 golds lots of Dwarven points, and Freezy dropped Elite Tome for me:) Kongtorp 13:28, 1 January 2008 (EST)
- I have tried some things with Secret lair, but the only problem are the monks (mischievous or something) cause they use hidden rock. i added up I Am Unstoppable but hidden rock gets trough... and to commence further then the little room with a half circle of snowmen, you need to kill half an army of those bastards... they a. Daze you, what gives them upportunity to interupt even more, and KD you... any suggestions? (haven't tried Ward yet, maybe that works better)
