Surprisingly powerful spike, and improves on much of the faults of wc builds of the past (energy, downtime, conditionality, and survivability). Much better "downtime" pressure thanks to conjure, quick recharging mini-chains, and cripple. Not a quarter-knock unless the chain is reordered (wc->falling->hOtO), but I believe it comes close at a half-knock, meaning it disrupts the majority of skills, and doesn't allow the target enough time to get away. Horn's of the Ox is conditional, however skipping straight to twisting fangs still results in a strong spike, and saves you a decent mini spike 8 seconds later. Energy is fine, so survivability insignias can be used, and the chain is not dependent on a successful kd from wc meaning less time is played waiting for after cast delays and the like. Can be out dps-ed by pressure bars, but such is usually the case with spike builds.

Powerful spike with WC to shit on flaggers in range. Needs to roll with an ele or a necro for the guarenteed kill but if you aren't running this in a split based build then you should probably jump off a cliff.

Standard split sins now that dual/offhands have been nerfed. Combines big damage with knocks, cripple, self-activating dw, and huge mobility control with a shadowstep-knock and dash.

Chain is hardily worth taking after this nerf. WC is a nice skill, but we aren't rating skills, but build. Even if it is a split build it isn't very useful in RA, maybe good in AB where skills recharge faster, making this chain better but nothing more.


Reason: the "nerfs" didn't knock this from great to good.

Very very good spike, shadow step, double KD and DW. Doesnt kill targets anymore with the nerf to Fox fangs and sting but they will have only 50 health left.

This build is the split sin meta. Doesn't have much to offer outside of split builds though, and can be hard countered by some common builds without support (notably Glimmering Mark).

Powerful both in splits and in main team (LaG spike), but requires a lot of experience, a good feeling for the current game situation and a good grasp of the tactics or else you're going to drag your team down.
