This build has been designed for the following use:

This build uses Glyph of Sacrifice, Earthquake, Shadow Walk and Shockwave to deal very high damage in 1 second over a large area, providing both massive utility and area wide off-damage for Edge of Extinction. Aftershock and Light of Deldrimor finish off the spike combo.

Attributes and Skills[]

Your maximum Energy is raised by 39.

Template code

  • Earthquake and Dragon's Stomp are of course interchangeable.
  • Replace Glyph of Sacrifice with Glyph of Lesser Energy when using this build outside of Speed Clears, where there is no time crunch for spiking so that you save some energy and 30s off your Earthquake cooldown.
  • Consider adding Earthbind to your ST hero for an extra second of KD and to knock otherwise stun-immune enemies.

Armor[]

  • Insignias: Full Radiant Insignias or full Hydro-, Geo-, Aero-, Pyromancer Insignias for a bit more armor.

Weapons[]

  • 40/40 Earth Magic Set.
  • Shield Set with a 20/20 Earth Magic Wand or a Martial Weapon of Enchanting or of Warding/Shelter/Defense/Fortitude (rarely necessary)

Usage[]

Use skills from left to right. Do NOT press Shadow Walk until your Earthquake has gone on cooldown = has casted or you will cancel your glyph, don't knock your enemies, lose a chunk of damage and probably get rupted and killed fast standing inside the enemy ball. Also, do not use another skill except your Earthquake after having casted your glyph or the glyph will get canceled (or used if you pressed a spell). With a bit of experience, time your Intensity 5-8 seconds before the spike to get a second intensity for when you cast Aftershock for a considerable damage increase.

Counters[]

  • Caster hate outside of nearby range of your spike target

Variants[]

  • Glyph of Lesser Energy Glyph of Lesser Energy instead of Glyph of Sacrifice Glyph of Sacrifice

Notes[]

  • Wield a martial weapon + 20/20 focus against enemies like Thorn Wolves in Urgoz Warren or Charr Shadowblades in Rragar's Menagerie to avoid getting shut down.
  • This build is not recommended for beginner players and takes some practice and focus to execute correctly and master in terms of timing and optimal targets for maximum intensity damage.
