Usage[]

  • Prepare some overcast before the match by cancelcasting Second Wind.
  • Apply your main hexes.
    • Maintain Frustration (PvP) on a healer or other caster.
    • Maintain Soothing Images on players relying on adrenaline.
  • Make proper use of your degeneration hexes Conjure Phantasm and Conjure Nightmare.
    • Cover one of the more important hexes.
    • Spread the hexes instead of applying both on the same target.
  • Use Web of Disruption (PvP) appropriately.
    • Force kills by interrupting Healing Burst.
    • Increase the pressure by interrupting Cure Hex.
    • Prevent resurrection by interrupting Resurrection Signet.
    • Help your team to survive against the first burst of damage by interrupting Lightning Surge or other high damage skills.
  • Gain energy and health with Second Wind.
    • Note that this will remove enchantments from yourself. If you're currently under attack and protected with spells such as Spirit Bond (PvP) you should rather keep kiting.
    • For a healthy amount of overcast and energy gain you'll probably spend most time in your first high energy set.
  • Protect yourself from spikes with Distortion. Don't maintain it, as it will drain your energy quickly even with second wind.

Counters[]

  • Peace and Harmony.
  • Aneurysm with accumulated overcast.
  • Interruption of Second Wind with Distracting Shot or casting it into Diversion.
