The Condi Spear Ranger spreads tons of conditions and can produce decent DPS augmented by Tiger's Fury.
Attributes and Skills
The energy cost of attack skills, rituals, touch skills and all Ranger skills is reduced by 40%. |
Equipment
- Various spears...you'll want one with increased Dazed duration, one with Bleeding, one Poison, and one Vampiric. The Vamp spear and Bleeding spear should be 15>50 damage increase, Dazed spear should be +5 energy (only need to use this Spear to toss Stunning Strike or for a quick energy increase if you need it for some reason), and the Poison Spear should be -5 energy (switch to this spear to help avoid energy denial effects). At least one Spear should have +5 Armor (recommend this for the Vamp and Bleeding Spears) and at least one should have +30 health (use that for the Daze and Poison Spears).
- Any Shield of Fortitude, with the Inscription you find most useful. Keep as many Shields in your inventory as you like.
- Keep a Longbow in your inventory to build adrenaline from afar.
- Survivor Insignias.
- Rune of Clarity.
Usage
- Maintain Apply Poison.
- Activate Tiger's Fury then proceed to spread conditions with Barbed Spear.
- Use Maiming Spear to Cripple foes so that they can not kite or to help your own team kite.
- Use Stunning Strike once it charges to Daze enemies.
- Finish foes off with Merciless Spear.
- Interrupt with Disrupting Throw.
Counters
- The usual shutdown on physical characters.
Variants
- Wild Throw
- Spear of Redemption
- Spear of Lightning
- Antidote Signet
- Natural Stride (in place of Tiger's Fury, change spec to 10+1+1 wilderness and 8+1 expertise)
- Troll Unguent (for AB)
