Variants:

  • Aura of Stability Aura of Stability instead of "Brace Yourself!".
  • "Make Haste!" "Make Haste!" instead of "Fall Back!", for a cheaper, longer speed boost running to the Great Destroyer.

Equipment

  • Radiant Insignia.
  • Insightful Staff of Enchanting with "I Have the Power!".

Usage

  • Display your Delver title for the Stout-Hearted effect. Order of the Vampire can keep you alive even without it.
  • Disable all maintained enchantments, Orders and paragon shouts.
  • Use "Fall Back!" to quickly run down to see if a Destroyer of Deeds has spawned. Resigning is advisable since a Deeds can interrupt/disable one of your attack skills, which will cripple your attack chain.
  • Flag your heroes near the lava, making sure they do not stand in it. Set them to Avoid Combat to avoid them rushing in to attack the Destroyer of Lives.
  • Place all bonds on yourself. Make sure all Protective Bonds are cast before Life Barrier. It may help to micro Blood Ritual on the third hero so he has enough energy to cast his Command skills after bonds are placed.
  • Use Enduring Harmony, "Fall Back!" and "Brace Yourself!" on yourself before running in.
  • At the Great Destroyer, cast "I Am Unstoppable!" before Enduring Harmony ends and Ebon Battle Standard of Honor within range of the Great Destroyer.
  • Use your dagger skills on the Great Destroyer. Micro Order of the Vampire on the heroes, alternating heroes and chaining it.
  • Use your interrupt ("You Move Like a Dwarf!"/Disrupting Dagger) when the Great Destroyer casts Lava Wave.
  • The mission will end after the Great Destroyer is dead.

Counters

  • Not interrupting Lava Wave. Not deadly, but slows the run (enough for "I Am Unstoppable!" to run out).
  • Destroyers of Deeds interrupting your skills.

Variants

  • Obviously, the player is free to take additional heroes. For example, a primary Necromancer for stronger Blood Magic support or a primary Paragon for more and stronger Leadership and Command support.
  • The player can also bring a health regeneration skill for additional security, like Shroud of Distress or Mystic Regeneration.
  • The main variant is in interrupt choice, usually Disrupting Dagger or "You Move Like a Dwarf!".
  • If using Alcohol, for example when using a build with Drunken Master, you can replace your anti-knockdown skill with Dwarven Stability.
  • Some of the attribute spreads above are reliant on hitting specific breakpoints using the correct equipment. The main requirements are +7 regeneration to mitigate burning (Mending @ 13, plus Succor and Watchful Intervention), and -3 energy loss on Protective Bond (Protective Bond @ 13 spread out across three heroes equates to -1 energy loss per hero, negated by +1 energy gain from Essence Bond).
