If you're accompanied by another player, let him run whichever damage or support build he's inclined to bring. If you need to bring a 7th hero, these are some options:

Player build

Any well-functioning damage dealing build is compatible with this team.

  • Ideally you provide the melee allies with Ebon Battle Standard of Honor.
  • Beast masters should use Great Dwarf Weapon on their pet for reliable knock downs on the Reikos.
  • Casters should use Great Dwarf weapon on allies for additional damage and knock downs.
  • Physicals can bring "Save Yourselves!" for additional safety during the last phase of the fight when ministry troops start interfering.
  • Build recommendations:

Usage

  • Flag your heroes apart in the area around Reiko. They should not stand close enough to each other to be affected by area effects.
    • Natively only the first three heroes can be commanded individually. For the remaining four heroes you need to set up custom hotkeys in the controls option for Action: Command Hero #.
  • Force the communing prot to use ShelterUnionDisplacementArmor of Unfeeling before Reiko turns hostile.
  • Hero AI mode:
    • Set backline heroes to guard Guard
    • Set midline heroes to fight Fight


Notes

  • False Reikos are summonings and will be affected by skills such as Spiritual Pain and Holy Spear. This makes it easy to identify or quickly dispatch them.
  • Depending on which winds of change side quests you did and on decisions during the main questline you'll be supported by different allies. The standard allies are canthans and tengus, but you can also unlock Am Fah and Jade Brotherhood allies. Their combat performance is slightly different.
