  • Use Protector's Strike for spiking purposes only.

Usage

  • Keep your frontline clean of conditions. Ask your backline whether you're supposed to keep the whole team clean, so the prot can go for a different elite skill than Restore Condition.
  • Make sure that your relic runner is not crippled, use "Make Haste!" altering between runner and backup runner to keep it permanently up on both.

Tactics

Playing this team

Deathmatch

  • Perform frequent spikes to exhaust the opposing monks' energy and score kills.

Relic Run (HA only)

  • Snare with the elementalist and a warrior.
  • Take out snares with the mesmer.
  • Use the paragon to speed up your relic runners and to remove conditions from them.
  • Run on the assistant monk and a warrior.

Capture Points

  • Capture shrines with the assistant monk and ghostly hero.
  • Keep the paragon with the hammer warrior.
  • Keep the mesmer with the axe warrior.
  • Snare their party members with your elementalist.
  • Send the remaining monks where needed.

King of the Hill

  • Play it like a deathmatch.

Playing against this team

Deathmatch

  • Blind the paragon.
  • Disenchant the elementalist.

Relic Run

  • Only one snare; make sure he doesn't get his ward off.

Capture Points

  • The paragon isn't a big threat in capture skirmishes.

King of the Hill

  • Like a deathmatch.
