Got my hopes up for some oldschool EDA sword cancer, but that fell flat fast. Dagger on the other hand delivers, it hits like a truck. Death blossom + Zealous Renewal can spike for ~180-200 damage in a second and even the 4s CD unblockable combo starter can hit for 60-80 with a little luck. --DefinitelyNotHanz (talk) 19:34, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
- What's the advantage of this over a fluxed conjure WOTA (or my favourite: GUST!!)? It'd have two extra slots for utility. --Krschkr (talk) 23:20, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
- The dervish robes, of course. Not much tbh, sin's going to have slightly higher damage and better mobility. Derv's got a bit better IAS + potentially better uptime of bonus damage though - even if you luck out on HRT EDA's CD is still shorter than the conjure's, and there are 2 spammable cheap cover enchants to make it harder to remove it in the first place. There's a bit of linebacking you can do with EDA's AoE blind and the anti-kd is always handy. Maybe reaching a bit here but there's also a lower chance of someone having extra armor against earth/holy damage than vs lightning. --DefinitelyNotHanz (talk) 06:36, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
- This derv build is probably less squishy and better at covering enchants than a conjure wota sin. But this build has worse IAS (PvP version of Heart of Fury has downtime), lower sustained DPS than an unfluxed conjure WOTA with unsuspecting strike. But nice idea using flash enchants to get a better spike damage, if you like such spikes you can try stuff like this: Owpj0pj66OPsuND7gpd1fgb1LA (note that Staggering Force allows you to use zealous daggers for energy, but if it gets stripped you should swap to ebon daggers). Best spike I got was 264. But the energy use is really high :). I couldn't figure out nice way to reliably cripple and use jungle strike for added damage after unsuspecting strike. - No rez sig monkaS You're right about some downtime on IAS (minimal though), but it's still 25% vs ~17% if I remember correctly. Unsuspecting is.. weird, but I'm sure the bursts are fun :P You'll still run into energy troubles though. Normally for a dagger derv to work you'd need zealous weapons, but EDA needs an ebon one so you'll need take Zealous Renewal imo, along with the flux's bonus. --DefinitelyNotHanz (talk) 16:56, 3 June 2018 (UTC)
- Staggering Force allows you to use zealous daggers for energy instead of Zealous Renewal while still getting the damage bonus from EDA. So it depends on which trade-off you prefer. The sin version has more spikiness but energy is a bigger problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjryvOMUiWA Cute Lethal Puppy (talk) 16:05, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
