Combine with SoLS Healer[]

This is just a specific version of https://gwpvx.gamepedia.com/Build:N/Rt_SoLS_Healer. Maybe we should combine the pages (delete this one and update the other one), they both achieve the same purpose (altho this one has the best elite option, so we could clearly mention the elite tiers on the other page). Krschkr did split this one out from that page with my ok given but I'm not too picky on which way we display it. -Toraen (talk) 16:33, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
I think that the BiP healer simply isn't interchangeable with other healers. It does not make a great difference whether you run a mark of pain healer or an icy veins healer; both provide some damage, one combines a bit better with certain teams (physical damage triggers) than the other, but a team won't usually exceed or fail depending on which of those you chose. The BiP healer on the other hand has a large impact on the team, allowing to change most caster builds to benefit or even require the external energy support. This is a greater impact than usual, so I believe that separating this build version from the others is the right thing. But as for the PI mesmer, if you think that this doesn't deserve its own page and a majority supports your merge (or in this case rather: deletion) proposal I won't oppose it. --Krschkr (talk) 16:41, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
You're underestimating MoP significantly if you're equating it to IV's output (they're not actually mutually exclusive skills though). Granted, our differences in opinion on MoP may be due to a fundamental difference in our preferred playstyles. -Toraen (talk) 07:01, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
I don't think there is a decisive difference unless the player balls foes up a bit and microes MoP. If he does, the impact is undeniably great (especially with 100b/vos). If he doesn't, it's an unreliable bonus damage which may yield for good results or cause scattering before achieving much. --Krschkr (talk) 15:09, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
And that's the playstyle difference! It's pretty important that such a player not consider IV competitive with MoP in that team. That kind of team also doesn't have as much need for BiP though (but it's still pretty nice), since the majority of (or the entire) fight is over with that spike. Really up to how much the player wants to hedge against a spike not going cleanly. -Toraen (talk) 17:09, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
