Player Builds[]
I'll admit that I was a bit brave here: All builds suggested but the ranger's are untested theory crafting. But I played this quest with some of my caster profession characters using the most useless builds, nonetheless the team was stable and the mesmer hero killed all foes in a reasonable time.
On my ritualist I played a beast master aswell, of which only the bravest of people would claim that it is better than the suggested (or any viable) spirit spam build:
And I'll go one step further and add, that when I played the quest on the word of censure monk I played the mesmer hero with just 7 skills, having removed visions of regret. My conclusion of these selftrolls is that the 3 suggested heroes do the job of carrying people through the quest just fine. And that's what this build page is intended for: Giving people who struggle with this quest an idea on how to do it. (Hint: Dual backline of any kind.) --Krschkr (talk) 01:44, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
- I tested the 3 Hero Rescue at Minister Cho's Estate build with my elementalist and used the suggested build
- Some general notes: this quest is rather difficult in hard mode with a lot of AoE damage from Searing Flames, Invoke Lightning, Ray of Judgement, Energy Surge coming in. It is not recommended to fight more than one group of enemies at the same time. It is also advised to ignore ritualists and run away from their spirits to avoid taking damage.
- In conclusion the build worked well but playing carefully or bringing DP-removal is necessary. I did not use any consumables apart from some DP-removal. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sgyzen (talk • contribs) 14:07, 9 January 2019 (UTC).
Non-BiP backline[]
I'll just drop this here in case anyone's interested in it. If you play a less energy demanding mesmer hero and don't need BiP yourself, go for the dual prot backline. Very stable indeed. --Krschkr (talk) 01:48, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
