this a jokebuild or something?Jon.comgree 21:15, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

edit to above: A joke build meaning isnt almost all this in meta DoAsc builds?Jon.comgree 21:24, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

the tactics are largely the same, but the bars are switched up. abuse that SM.

my guild still uses this. grats for flaunting your ignorance again (not to you, Jon). ♟Fianchetto Mending 01:03, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

Record is 23 no? Life Guardian 01:09, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
"officially" yeah. LOD made this more for casual runs, and the times are pretty much the same as most guild's doasc.
Congrats, Love. However, put in your sandbox or talk about it on some DoASC build talk page. Vincent Evan [Air Henchman] Vincels 01:58, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
this is not my work at all (why was the credits section deleted? give Fissure some love here) so it's not going under my userspace.
@Jai, Alex, Relyk: you've never done this have you? don't need to spam on every page, just stick with the stuff you know about. thanks bye. ♟Fianchetto Mending 18:32, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
First off, credit is never given to anyone except under specific circumstances. Pretty much the only ones are things like Cake Split or Sabway, simply because that's what they're known as by the majority of people in GW (and they ARE known by the majority of people, that part's important). In other words, it's more because they're known by that name than it is that some famous person thought of it. If some random guild/person makes up a speed clear, then credit is not given. Second off, you specifically show that the best time gotten up to this point is 32 mins, which is no where near the record of Trenchway. I don't need to have run this build to see that.
Here's a general overview of speed clear stuff that gets vetted: It's either meta, or it's the record-holding build. And even sometimes the record build doesn't get stored either (i.e. the record-holding UWSC and FoWSC variants). Or occasionally, for dungeons that are rarely run, it's just the simplest build to put together that gets the dungeon done in a decent time. --Jai. - 18:56, May 21 2012 (UTC)

tl;dr if you can't show that this is either faster than Trenchway or consistently safer with comparable times, there's no reason to keep the build. --Jai. - 18:58, May 21 2012 (UTC)

quit it dude, you're sounding worse and worse. first off, you just called LODX/Fissure a "random guild/person." so why you're even trying (read: failing) to detract from a setup you've never even heard of is beyond me. secondly, i never said anything about 32m being the SPW record. quit making stuff up again. 30-40m is for casuals, which is in fact the same as trenchway casuals. you "don't need to have run this build to see that."
tl:dr - for casual runs (i.e., most of the time), trenchway and SPW have roughly equal speeds and difficulty, and people farm armbraces with SPW fine. as for records, the currently documented trenchway isn't even the record setup(s). that page, like this one, is more for casuals.
@Alex: this isn't technically singletank, but i'm not going to explain SM and emo to you.
also, mimic SM is so pro! ♟Fianchetto Mending 18:08, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
Dw fian, I've seen the video I'm now uberpro doasc. SM does same as the gem farm build we vetted + emo tanks bunch of touchers. srs how hard could it be. Cɥıǝɟʇɐıu Alǝx 18:13, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

WELL

Let's keep the WELL tag on for now. Let be signified as a way to keep the peace until whatever happens with this build happens. It will be on for sometime until Fianchetto can prove, with substancial evidence, that this build should be stored. Also, put on trial so nobody trash votes/5-5. Also, names are v. silly imo. Vincent Evan [Air Henchman] Vincels 20:56, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

I think there might be some confusion, but I haven't played DoA in like 2 years so this might not be relevant anymore. Single tank and duo tank are effectively equivalent in terms of time and difficulty for casual runs. Duo tank only speeds up runs in veil and gloom. By bringing recall + IAU (i guess you use shadow meld for some fun tactics, like I said I haven't played in years) you can easily play the role of tank on spiker in veil and parts of gloom (glitching cave, and running back for quest). So for casuals, single tank and duo tank were effectively equivalent in terms of time/difficulty. What we ran in LOD basically depended on which people were available (i.e. if there was only one person with a sin tank on we'd run solotank) and what people were in the mood for (running the same build over and over gets dull). This WAS 2 years ago, but things can't have changed that much.--TahiriVeila 18:58, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

Also: the name is retarded (and is probably just some dumbass garbage fish came up with because he thinks he's fucking hilarious).--TahiriVeila 18:59, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
If fianchetto claims it isn't outdated and has videos to show it works, seems like a significant enough variant to justify a build page (and yes, I have little experience with doasc).--Relyk 21:11, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
Along that line, please can someone move this to a more appropriate name? ~ PheNaxKian talk 22:00, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
maybe insert "DoASC" before "Somali"? because SPW is what it's known by, even if the original namer was joking. R.I.P. joke :( ♟Fianchetto Mending 00:47, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
Given that I don't play with other people (baring rare occasions) I'll accept the possibility it's called that, but only if other users can confirm it's commonly called this, otherwise it still has to follow PvX:NAME. ~ PheNaxKian talk 16:36, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
