The 50 EOTN PvE Title Track based skills don't work when trying to create a build. Currently, I have left them as optional and inserted a comment underneath which says about the skills. ---Andyhhp

Well this Wiki uses historic Skill Data (Back from March 2008) which was way before the Splitting and therefore a skill doesnt need to have been changed recently in order to be displayed wrong here. And thats not the only issue here 07:58, 29 June 2008 (EDT)

Chilling Victory

Skills With "(PvP)"

Not sure if this is the right place...but for the standard build template, if I try to write a skill with a PvP variant (for instance, if I were to write [Aegis (PvP]) the skill doesn't appear. I was wondering if you could change that so that build readers understand the function of the skills in their location. Because a PvP version of a skill cannot be written directly into the build, Aegis in an HA build would still appear to cost 10 energy.

FC on signets

This barely even matters at all (if at all) but:

You activate Spells and Signets 99% faster. (No effect for non-Mesmer skills with a cast time less than 2 seconds.)
In PvE, the recharge time of your Mesmer Spells is reduced by 300%.

Skill Signet of Return is not from one of the build professions

you can see here when fast casting is high on signets the cast time goes onto negative numbers whereas with spells the number stays at 0.0. It really doesn't make a difference to anything but you know :P MrMetalFLower-...tlk 15:42, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

wikia do.I believe TOR made it so the skills rip descriptions from either GWiki or GWWiki, so some skill descirptions are the PvE version, others are PvP version, and others are a mix. ~ PheNaxKian Sysop 09:24, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
I meant that the green number ought to be changing depending on specified strength; instead it stays in general form (90...258...300) regardless. And is not green. Spawning power Bugged amount

For the builds involving a ritualist with spawning power you seem to be at a fault, spawning power adds 4% duration to weapon spells per point. As an example at level 10 it will add 40% duration if you add this to a weapon spell that has 20 seconds base it will go to 28 not 24. I figure one of your coders has either set it to 2% or somthing.

Fox Fangs

Seems to be a typo somewhere. [Fox Fangs (PvP)] and [[Fox Fangs@# (PvP)] breaks pages (shows Missing skill. Id=90780; Name=Fox Fangs (PvP)). While [Fox Fang] and [[Fox Fang] show the PvP version. Zyke 23:48, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

Something to fix:

  • Eremite's Zeal Eremite's Zeal has type Spell instead of Enchantment Spell.
  • Lyssa's Haste Lyssa's Haste description has not been updated.
  • Aura Slicer Aura Slicer it's a melee attack not a scythe attack.
  • Zealous Sweep Zealous Sweep it's "1 adrenaline" not 1 strike of adrenaline.
  • Mystic Sweep Mystic Sweep Has 1 second activation time for PvE, not 3/4.
  • Guiding Hands Guiding Hands wiki has it as [s], change it if it matters.
  • Attacker's Insight Attacker's Insight remove the second "seconds".
  • Intensity Intensity cast time is 0 not 1.
  • Zealous Renewal Zealous Renewal remove the cast time.
  • Ursan Blessing Ursan Blessing , Raven Blessing Raven Blessing , Volfen Blessing Volfen Blessing Forms now, not skills.
  • Mantra of Signets Mantra of Signets Incorrect skill id pointer.
  • Signet of Mystic Speed Signet of Mystic Speed cast time is 1 not 0.

PvP Icons

Many of the hover over sections for PvP version of skills (such as on this page: Build:Rt/any HA Spirit Channeling) have crosses where the icons should be, but the images exist on the wiki e.g. Death Pact Signet (PvP).jpg. PvXbig does not use the images uploaded to the wiki. It uses a set of images uploaded to the server with the extension. I've already prepared all the skill icons that need to be uploaded. -- Toraen talk 12:58, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

We've tested this in december and found identical casting times of spells and signets. For ease of comparison we used spells and signets with the same casting time (resurrection signet vs. minions, signet of return vs. resurrect) and checked the casting time via slowed down video to make sure we're not falling trap to our gut feeling. --Krschkr (talk) 22:12, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

Anniversary Update

Evidently we've got 10 new elites now. skillname_db.php and skill_db.php will both need updating. There were some dodgy looking concise description vs full descriptions on GWW so I haven't yet proposed a patch for these. -Chieftain Alex (talk) 06:26, 24 April 2020 (UTC)

Looks like someone already started a merge request but it's missing quite a bit. I've submitted my own merge request to them to get all the skill data sorted but I don't have images. Well after the merge is accepted (which it has been), it's usually like a day or two before it hits the live wiki.

Isn't scaling correctly. Anything other than rank 0 Leadership causes it to display rank 15 effects. Entry seems correct in DB (forks should be @0..@15) other than an errant space at the start.

Yes, I can confirm this works to add percentage signs. If you're not bothered by the "%" sign being slightly clipped by the background div image, everything is fine.
If you want to avoid the clipping there are two solutions: (1) Adjust the div size, make skillbg.jpg bigger, change the box sizes and padding, and then upload a new thumbnail image for every single file because it's no longer 40px wide.
OR, (2) set .pvx_attributes {} (line 146 in css/pvxcode.css) from 7px to 1px padding-left. Suggest we do this second option as its easier. -Chieftain Alex (talk) 19:50, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
