BiP ... Support Teams

I'd like to ask you to voice your opinion on how to proceed with the pages Archive:Team - 7 Hero BiP Melee Support and Archive:Team - 7 Hero BiP Caster Support because I'd like to see a consensus about this matter. Right now these pages are in abeyance and as you reworked the page content your view should be part of the discussion. The questions are:

  1. Should the reworked page content stay in these pages or be presented in a new page?
  2. If the new page content stays on these pages, are there any reasons that speak against a vote wipe?
  3. If the new page content is transferred to a new page and the old pages are reverted to their old form, is an archival necessary?

Team - 7 Hero Heroic Mesmerway (talk · rate)

Please drop a note on my talk page once the page is in a likely finalized state. At that point I'll most likely drop {{Archive-Pending}} on Archive:Team - 7 Hero Quintuple Energy Surge. Archiving the team that arguably was the strongest one around for quite a while will hurt. What hurts more is doing so not because of a nerf, but because of power creep. I don't think it makes sense to keep both, given they follow the exactly same concept, are designed for the same player profession, same purpose and same audience (mercenary power team users) when one of them is strictly superior.

Will do, although I'm still hoping they'll do a round 2 of nerfs.
I tried a Heroic Refrain dagger spammer with the comp, but as you point out, heroes are often not in range of your shouts, making "ToF!" less reliable to refresh it on your team. Anthem of Flame on a hero? Perhaps, although it'll lag behind more. But with five 20 dom/illu, 17 FC mesmers, how valuable is it to squeeze out some extra damage on the player bar? --Xanshiz (talk) 18:35, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
Melee player would probably be the way to go for party size 4 only. On the other hand, the defensive ranged heroic refrain would probably perfectly fit to Build:Team - 3 Hero Triple Energy Surge for all non-beyond content. --Krschkr (talk) 18:37, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
